Product Manager Permobil Connect

In order to continue to deliver an exceptional customer experience Permobil have invested heavily in connected products and services. In 2017 Permobil launched the first truly connected wheelchair and have since then been developing new industry shaping digital products and service offerings. We are just in the beginning of our journey and in order for us to be able to take the next step in our digital transformation we need you! We need you to help us build, create and launch these products and services.

We are now recruiting aProduct Manager for Permobil Connect within the newly created business unit Services and Installed Base Management (BU S&IM).

Role

Product mgmt. of Permobil Connectincludes accountability for the various building blocks which currently contains of MyPermobil, Fleet mgmt. and Virtual Seating Coach - where you are responsible forquality and compliance.

Work includes duties such as securing collection of market needs and external benchmarks and prioritize that into requirements for development. You make sure that the quality is secured and that it delivers upon agreed values. Furthermore, to articulate the values and make sure these are packaged into material that can be used by the regions when working with Permobil Connect. Duties also include to secure that the data captured is analyzed and that insights are distributed within the organization.

As the Product Manager you also set thestrategic direction of Permobil Connect and that we position ourselves in the forefront of connected devices within our industry.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to be a curious and dedicated person. You know our sector and competitors, current products and future trends. You understand the importance of performance tracking and you also know that, success is not a one person’s game. You are genuinely a true team player who thrives in interacting cross functionally.

We expect you to have a relevant university degree and a few years' previous experience from product management, IoT, connected devices and from tech or med tech industry.

You are:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to effectively present concepts and ideas.
- Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross functional teams and third parties
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Fluent in English
- A strong communicator
- Genuinely interested in understanding our end-users - you may have your own experience or a deep interest in understanding our end-users needs.
