Parts Products is a department within the Parts and Service organisation (KP). 

The mission of the team is to develop the Parts and Service business with a long-term global perspective to secure the objectives for sales, volumes and profitability. 

Your tasks 

As a Product Manager for parts pricing and assortment the main responsibility is to make sure that all spare parts get a recommended retail price for newly introduced or improved spare parts. This includes implementing and maintaining spare parts pricing principles that are in line with main assortment business plan (strategies/tactics). Furthermore, the role also includes maintenance of the spare part assortment such as phasing out and scrapping of spare parts accordingly. 

You will be working in a great team consisting of product managers working in a cross-functional product area team together with product managers for commercial parts. This team is focusing on the bus body and truck cab assortment and you will work with various product areas within. We appreciate team-work and we support each other with challenges. Your overall responsibilities in this role are parts pricing, parts assortment and that goal will be achieved by including: 


• Pricing Principles – propose and implement. 
• Manage the inflow and put recommended retail prices for spare parts in Price Point. 
• Analyse and update recommended retail prices for spare parts continuously. 
• Manage and lead price revisions. 
• Maintain an active spare part assortment according to product roadmap. 
• Maintain spare part assortment standards and policies. 

This job suits you who want a key role in our commercial parts pricing area. The pricing and parts assortment maintenance has a significant impact on Scania´s after sales revenue result as well as our spare part logistic cost. Scania Parts and Services has had a rapid growth in sales and here you really have the chance to continue pushing it to the next level! 

Your profile


• a university degree in engineering or business and administration
• at least three years' work experience as a product manager, commercial manager, pricing manager or similar.  
• an interest and knowledge in technology. 
• good English in speaking and writing is a requirement. Swedish language is a merit.  
• experience from retail business is a merit.
