Product manager propulsion batteries – Service business e-Mobility

Arbetsbeskrivning

Do you want to build Scania’s future and lead the electrification shift? The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing tailor-made sustainable transport solutions; bundling products and different services.

The customers are currently selecting partners for the coming years by approaching and comparing offers from different makes. Many are looking for a complete e-Mobility system together with partners rather than just a product. Besides a whole new product range, this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers. We therefore need to evaluate, develop and experiment with different business models. Scania’s goal is to drive the shift towards more sustainable transport solutions.

Are you the driven Product Manager for propulsion batteries we are looking for?

What to expect

You, together with your colleague, will be responsible for managing the product related questions and strategies connected to the aftermarket for propulsion batteries. Your main responsibilities in the role will be to:

• Drive the development and implementation of strategies connected to pricing and service offering for the propulsion batteries.
• Set up a successful aftermarket business for propulsion batteries, managing topics such as pricing, logistics and product life cycle.
• Drive and take part in cross functional work throughout the organization in various projects.
• Participate in defining and follow up of demands on development projects at R&D covering propulsion batteries.
• Monitor the competitor situation connected to pricing and business offering.

There is a lot to learn in how to handle the business connected to the propulsion batteries. The product is of great importance when bundling competitive offers towards our customer as it is the most expensive component in the electrical vehicles. Many future business models will affect the handling of propulsion batteries and you will be an important player in this development. The work will in a large extent be carried out cross functionally, both internally and together with the Scania’s business units out on the field.

The service business is of great importance today and will become even more important in the future to ensure both a premium experience for the customer and Scania’s profitability. We have a golden opportunity to do things differently with the help of the changing demands that the electrical vehicles brings with them.

Your profile

We believe that you are open-minded and enjoy working in a context where the road forward is not always clear. A natural leader that can explore new ways of doing business and has the capabilities to drive change. You are flexible, structured, analytic and enjoy the combination of hands-on tasks as well as working with long-term solutions. You are a team player and have the ability to transform challenges into solutions.

You have a commercial and/or technical university degree, and experience in the service business is meritorious but not a must. You master English with high proficiency since communication skills are important for this role

Diversity in all aspects are of great importance, please tell us how your background can contribute in our journey. We can offer you a position in a fantastic team working in the absolute forefront when it comes to technical- and commercial development with a high sustainability focus.

We are looking forward to your application!
