Come and join our great team in Gothenburg responsible for the Global Service & Operations at Ascom. As the Product Manager for repair services you will be the business owner of Ascom’s RMA process and repair service, where customers send their faulty hardware to Ascom to be swapped for new units or repaired and shipped back to the customer.

This is a multi-faceted role that includes collaboration with many internal and external stakeholders, the supply team, quality assurance, ICT, local sales companies, our repair partners and others.

To be successful in this role you need to have a technical background, experience from after sales services and are process oriented. You have a commercial mindset and understand the customer perspective.

Key accountabilities

- Manage the repair services portfolio towards all sales channels and secure introduction of new repair services
- Coordinate and work with the other Product Managers (global and regional) to create overall solutions. Implementation and continuous improvement of the global IT tools to improve performance and efficiency
- Analysis of market requirements and competitors (service level and pricing)
- Define and monitor appropriate KPI: s for the service.
- Drive and lead the repair business forum with the local operational teams.
- Manage the product repair life cycle
- Collaboration and prioritization with logistics, supply and product quality on issues related to performance and repair backlogs.
- Actively work with the channels to improve the repair offering and increase the repair revenue


Your background

The candidate for this role should have:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent

- 3-5 years’ experience in Product Management, preferably from services
- Experience in creating short and long-term product plans, including business case, ROI analysis, product pricing, cost/resource modelling and forecasting.
- Executive level, high level skills in presenting customer support offerings to the market with a strong focus on the benefits for the customer
- Experience of logistic flows in a global business to business setup
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English is a must, Swedish preferred
- Team player with the ability to drive and motivate others
