We are now strengthening our team with a Product Manager, with the main responsibility to develop and enhance our core service Scania Maintenance. Within Sales and Marketing, we at Service Portfolio and Delivery are overall responsible for Scania’s global service offerings. We are at the forefront of the transformation and in the section Service Operations you will be at the heart of driving and supporting this change for our customers and in our global service network.

Your role 

Your main responsibility as Product Manager will be to commercially manage Scania Maintenance to make sure the service is in peak condition. The service forms the foundation for the customers’ experience of Scania over time and have a big impact on our customers’ total operating economy.  

In your role, you will be leading the product vision, strategy and roadmap of Scania Maintenance, by truly understanding the changing needs of our customers and by working closely together with other functions cross-functionally. You take part in the prioritisation of development efforts, functional requirements and support the development teams in their implementation. You will be up to date on trends within the industry and will work closely with our global service network to make sure that what we develop and offer is relevant and attractive to our customers. You will follow-up on the commercial performance and support our service network to improve their sales performance.

Are you what we are looking for? 

You have previous experience as a Product Manager, and possess a strong commercial and strategic mindset. You are a natural leader and an excellent communicator that can motivate and inspire others. You thrive working in an agile, cross-functional and collaborative environment. You are passionate about our customers and have an understanding of service development, digital transformation and it development.  

You have strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done. You are self-motivated, have an open mindset and value team spirit. You enjoy a large degree of flexibility both in terms of skillset and being prepared to handle fast changing situations. If you have experience from Scania’s contract business model and commercial system it is meriting. You have a relevant academic degree (e.g. engineering/business) and are fluent in English. The position requires traveling.
