Product Manager to IAR Systems in Uppsala

We are now strengthening our team with a Product Manager responsible for providing IAR Systems sales organization with competitive products. The stakeholder for your product consists of several departments within IAR Systems such as Sales, Development, Marketing and Support. As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the technical contacts with the corresponding chip manufacturers and partners. The role spans from the specifying the next release to being responsible for the quality of the product in a market and a customer perspective. You will be part of a very dedicated and experienced team of Product Managers.

Developing and maintaining business and marketing plans for the relevant product

Investigating market and competition product positioning

Supporting sales representatives in trade shows and similar events

Organizing and maximizing the impact of product launches with Marketing department

Give technical assistance to IAR Systems Support

Monitor and maintain contacts with chip manufacturers and other partners

To be successful in the role we believe you have the ability to build trust and relationships, you have strong communication skills and you come with thorough technical background. Some professional experience from the Embedded field will be to your advantage. You have an eager willingness to deep dive into specifics to make a product loved by customers. To have a problem solving approach and to be curious about new fields will be considerable assets for you.


Your background

- A University engineering degree and/or qualification in Software engineering

- Experienced in new product launches

- Capability of working with external and internal stakeholders

- A good understanding of products in this field

- You will spend 10-20% of your time traveling. Moreover, you are at ease in an international environment where English is the dominant language. We welcome proficiency in additional languages. We put great emphasis on personal qualifications.
