Product Manager, Travel

Klarna is looking for an entrepreneurial Product Manager to drive conceptual and technical development of Klarna?s flagship product, Klarna Checkout.

Klarna Checkout is an easy to use e-commerce checkout solution that aims to completely remove all friction involved in making a purchase online. We?ve just started in the Nordic markets and are expanding the product to new markets and verticals. To enable this experience we are developing a distributed purchasing platform, a front-end server and a client based on JavaScript.

The Product Manager, Checkout Travel works closely with a team travel specialist at engineering while working closely with customers and internal stakeholders and to define a viable product our customers will love .

Responsibilities
- Validate and improve the Checkout offering through prototyping, user testing and continuous interaction with our customers
- Solving our customers problems in ways they did not yet think of
- Write requirements and high level specifications for new products
- Negotiate and prioritize features with key customers and stakeholders, while using data to align strategic goals and available opportunities with senior management
- Be part of the sales process with strategic merchants, ensuring the product offered matches the long term vision of Klarna?s product portfolio
- Work closely with engineers and product designers to write user stories and prioritize features. The Product Manager, Checkout will own part of their backlog through Agile methods.

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the e-commerce or payments industry
MBA or BS degree in computer science
Track record of working closely with developers to build consumer facing products
Exceptional skills in written and oral communication
Passion for people, especially our customers
Comfortable gathering requirements and prioritizing backlogs
Data analytics experience
Background in creating user interfaces through wireframes and mockups.
Familiar with Adobe products, HTML, CSS and major web standards
