Product Manager VIMLA

Vimla is not just another mobile carrier, and we never will be. Ever since the launch of Vimla in 2014, we have found new ways to shape how a mobile carrier should feel like. By pushing boundaries, we have managed to grow our customer base incredibly fast. And more importantly, we have gained the trust and loyalty from our customers. We have been awarded Carrier of the Year from 2017 till 2020. Things are good, yes. But we’re far from satisfied.

 

The role

As Product Manager you will join an exciting journey and be part of a team that is already on the winning path. You will have the responsibility of running the Vimla roadmap and by orienting in our systems, guide how things should be done and ensure nothing is missed. Also, together with the Manager Value and Product Management, you will make sure that the teams are focusing on the right things that create the most value to both our users and the business.

 

You will be part of the Value and Product Management team, while at the same time work closely with all parts of Vimla to ensure we continue on our successful path. Together with the rest of us you will be an important part in taking Vimla to the next level.

 

What you will do
* Run the Vimla roadmap, navigating and prioritizing product development features and capabilities
* Initiate, plan, scope and lead new projects, including decision making. Help us continue to be the bold challenger, taking us into the future
* Be the link between all the teams working on projects, to ensure collaboration and execution efficiency
* Take ownership of projects, always ensuring business value in everything we do
* Maximize customer value of our product and thereby growth of our business 
* Drive a strong product development process
* Prioritize needs and bugs in projects and in the product backlog in a data driven and objective way
* Challenge us in how things are done and come with improvement proposals.

 

We believe you already

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have experience within product development and product ownership. It's also a plus if you are familiar with the telecom industry. You have experience working cross functional, and view yourself as a team player.

* Have the ability to effectively navigate and prioritize product features and capabilities
* Have experience with the fundamentals of Business Management
* Align stakeholders around projects
* Enjoy tech and working in technical systems, and have basic knowledge in data science and engineering, e.g. understand applications and how things work
* Have a strong and genuine interest in the business
* Have a BSc/MSc in a relevant area, e.g. Business, Engineering or similar.
