Product Manager Waterborne Climate Systems

Position description
In this position, you will be responsible for Swegons waterborne products in the areas of climate beams, comfort modules, perimeter systems and controls in our business area Room Units. The responsibility covers the entire life cycle of the products, from product strategy development to phasing out the product. You will work with market analysis, requirements, pricing, business development of the products in collaboration with our sales organisations on the markets, marketing and documentation.

As a Product Manager, the development, implementation and follow-up of action plans for the product range are important parts. You will work in close collaboration with Swegon's sales organization, operational departments within the factories and research and development departments. The products within the area of ​​responsibility are primarily manufactured at our factory in Arvika. In this position, you will have a strong focus on the development of the product range's sales growth and margin development.

You will be part of a team with several Product Managers, a Marketing Manager and Technical Writers who are located in different locations in Sweden and Germany. The products within the area of ​​responsibility are primarily sold and delivered to the Nordic countries, Continental Europe, UK&I and North America.

The location of this position is Arvika for at least 3 days a week.

Your profile
To succeed in this position, we believe that you have:


• An engineering degree or equivalent knowledge
• Knowledge in business administration/ product economics
• Several years of previous experience of working as a Product Manager as well as strategic and operational product management. Previous experience as a Product Manager for ventilation, installation technology, construction or equivalent are meriting
• Fluent skills in English both in written and verbal form, skills in Swedish and German are meriting

It´s meriting if you have an education or experience in building construction, building services engineering or ventilation. Travels will be required in the role, both international travel and within Sweden, therefore, a driving license is required.

The work requires power of initiative and self-management and we believe that you are proactive and have great collaborating skills. Further, you are able to compromise between time to market, effectiveness and working in a structured way, successfully. A strong market and customer-oriented approach is a must in order to succeed in this role.

You have a good ability to communicate and to convey knowledge through education. A prerequisite for success in this position is your ability to have a commercial and strategic focus. You will be zooming in and out between details and overall structure, which sometimes requires some operative work.
