The Wheel Loader Product & Segment Strategy group within Global Marketing department is responsible for the long and short term strategy for development of products in product range Wheel Loaders. We secure fulfillment of customer needs in the development of new hard and soft products. We also provide technical information to regional sale support organization. Products covered by the group are from wheel loader L20 to L350. In addition to the main responsibilities outlined below you will also support the overall development and efficiency of The Wheel Loader Product & Segment Strategy group Key responsibilities: Be recognized as the product expert, owner, and advocate for the product across Volvo CE. Ensuring the right products and solutions, at the right time, in the right place, for the right price, and right profit. Develop market strategies fully in line with the Volvo CE product and customer solution segment strategy. Includes: Product Life Cycle, Market Development, Competitive Analysis, Customer Values, etc. Be an active member in cross-functional product teams representing Sales & Marketing. Support the Material Creation and Competence Development groups with effective product information. Includes: PMI?s, Brochures, Equipment Descriptions, Bid Specifications, Articles, etc. Establish global launch plans strategies for new products with each Sales Region. Includes: Marketing Materials, Pricing, and Equipment for Exhibitions, Training, Communication, etc. Understand the competitive market environment Includes: Know competitors, Market Shares, Market Size, Product Positioning, Voice of Customer, etc. Be the key interface with the Regional Sales Support for the selected product or segment. Includes: Tech. Assistance, MRG, Product Marketing On-line (PMO), Top 10 List etc. Provide accurate, timely, and effective communication regarding the product and applications. Includes: Equipment Changes, New Options, Obsolesces, Market Trends, New Applications In this position you will report to the Range Leader for Product & Segment Strategy group WL. The location of this position is Eskilstuna, Sweden. Experience and qualifications: University degree in Engineering and/or Marketing Good understanding of market factors Minimum of five years relevant industry experience with a good technical understanding of construction machinery or similar Understanding of various customer applications and segments Good communication skills and an ability to interact with people on all levels Ability to work unsupervised in an analytical and structured manner Good skills in written and spoken English is a must Travel required We are looking forward to receive your application.
