WHAT UTOPIANS DO

We are building a better world for music with innovative big data technology that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection. The solution we’re building does not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection.

WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL BE

As a Product Marketing Manager at Utopia Music you will leverage the strengths of Utopia products, data and brand to build market strategies and value propositions that facilitate and drive growth, increase customer conversions and drive tangible impact to the customers business and ultimately to Utopia Music. Your main goal will be to secure product recognition and adoption at Clients, while gathering market research and insights to the Product organisation. You will deep dive in the music industry and learn all there is to know about copyrights, regulations, competition, and customers requirements - but no worries, your colleagues will support you, answer all your questions and guide you through it.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive the value proposition and product positioning of Utopia Music
- Define, develop and enhance the product positioning towards the market
- Communicate the market opportunities and product capabilities both ways between the product and engineering organisations and the commercial team and the stakeholders of Utopia Music
- Collaborating with both Clients and our data controller teams to support the product department with
- Competitive analysis (what alternative solutions are used by our Clients today, how they differ and are positioned in the market)
- Market and customer research (what problems do our customers have, how do they use our products, etc)
- Collaborating with product owners to support our commercial/sales department with
- Product positioning (what is our USP, why are we different, etc).
- Sales support materials
- Contribute to the commercial strategy from product value proposition point of view
- Act as a key point of contact towards the commercial team
- Own the global sales kit
- Train commercial team continuously about the product and value propositions of the company
- Bring product view to the commercial strategies employed at the company


THE IDEAL SKILLSET

- 3+ years of Product Management experience or Product Marketing management experience leading a cross-functional Product team
- A proven track record of successfully launch software products; generating sales kit and driving the go-to-market strategy
- Excellent English skills both in written and verbal communication
- Leadership skills that will enable you to drive change throughout the organisation
