ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Marketing Manager (Aviation) plays a pivotal role spearheading effective programs to position Transoft’s aviation products for success within the aviation community. Acting as the voice of the user, the Product Marketing Manager (Aviation) manages a small Aviation marketing team and liaises regularly with members of Transoft’s other Marketing teams, Aviation Product Management, Sales, and Development to create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. They seek to know the aviation market exceptionally well and understand how audience members think, who exactly they are, where they are, and what value they seek from our highly specialized aviation software.

You have a passion for marketing and are an independent, creative person who isn’t afraid to take initiative and come up with new ideas. You are a storyteller and can translate technical content into messaging that connects to a critically technical audience. You have a flexible attitude and can change your approach quickly as new information and assignments are presented. The job is at times fast paced with tight deadlines, so an organized approach and a can-do attitude is important.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.
Exceptional skills at planning, organizing, implementing and communicating integrated marketing plans across business lines and departments.
Proven ability to manage and implement marketing plans that align with product strategies and product lifecycle.
Able to work in an international and matrix environment with a cross-regional team.
Has the ability and experience to manage a diverse and close knit team across multiple time zones.
Must be able to juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure within a team setting.
Understanding of Google Adwords and Google Analytics is a plus
High energy with the capability to flourish in a dynamic, growing organization.
Ability to travel globally may be required from time to time.



EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing or equivalent required. Bonus points for candidates with aviation industry experience. MBA a plus.
5+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment is preferred. Software marketing experience is an asset. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a bonus.
5+ years’ experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software.
Has experience in planning, managing, and executing events such as expos, online events, and conferences.
Experience managing and mentoring a small team.
Experience with project management, productivity or GTD solutions such as Asana, Wrike, Basecamp. .
Proven experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Proven experience launching new-to-the-world products.
Ideal candidate is located in Sweden or a compatible time zone.
