Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Are you a customer-obsessed marketer who gets excited about working with partner sales, music and product teams? Our Product Marketing team is growing and we’re looking for someone to help our Product Partnerships team create a first-class creator experience through a range of exciting partnerships initiatives. This will include our new Partner Content API and “B2B2C” product.

Working at the intersection of our product, sales and marketing teams, Product Marketing gets to work across the most exciting parts of the business, from understanding our customers’ needs, be it creators or partners, to building out positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategies for our various products and features.

Key responsibilities

- Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product Partnerships teams to tell the story of our product to potential and existing partners.

- Play a key role in representing the market and the customer, leading any research needed to truly understand both.

- Oversee the process for creating new product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonates with our partnerships audience.

- Create and launch product playbooks including market requirements, sales enablement plans and launch plans.

- Be responsible for top of the funnel marketing for our Partner Content API, primarily targeting content creation app developers.

- Define partner acquisition strategy together with the Head of New Partnerships.

- Generate inbound requests to use our API through various marketing strategies including, paid ads, SEM, ambassadors & events.

- Work closely with Partnership teams from Product and Partner Sales. - Align on learnings from data and partners together

- Iterate on product, features, & marketing to optimize funnel




- Become a link between Product and the GTM teams (Sales, Success, Brand, Growth) at Epidemic Sound, ensuring teams are aligned and working towards the same goals.



Who are you?

To thrive in this role, we believe you have the ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent change with a pragmatic mindset. You’ll have a deep understanding of product marketing, best practices and new trends. You’ll also have experience working with sales teams and producing marketing materials for enablement initiatives. You’re experienced in creating value propositions and messaging, meaning you’re a strong communicator and writer, and you can adapt the stories you tell to engage the most discerning of developers. You’re great at spotting new opportunities in the sales process to better educate our partnership customers about our product.

Most important of all, you’re curious, customer-obsessed, technologically savvy and not afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on. In addition to being a strong project manager, being able to jump between strategic and tactical “mode” will be crucial to succeed in this role.
