Product & Mechanical Designer to join R&D team

Now, we want to be even better! Alfa Laval is investing heavily within the area High Speed Separators. Now we're looking for a skilled Designer to join our HSS R&D Single Use team.

Be part of the team as we expand the limits within separation technology

Alfa Laval invests in the field of separation technology with increased focus on innovation. Our products are continuously subject for challenging improvement in order to be Technology Leader on the market. In order to expand our business, we seek opportunities where centrifugal separation has potential. We are looking for passionate, driven engineers and scientists who can help us to do even better than we do today.

The Mechanical Designer will join a newly formed group within the R&D department, which is expanding in new technical areas where we need to prepare for an interesting future.

We are world leading within high speed separators, and we are looking at developing new products within this segment to further strengthen our position and generate further growth. It involves following market trends and demands on sustainability, energy reduction and digitalization, and in this context driving technological innovation to assure technical leadership on the market.

Knowledge and experience from mechanical design is essential for a successful candidate, as well as having a passion for product development. Experience from High Speed Separators is rewarding although not a demand.

Who you are

-You have extensive working experience from Mechanical Design in an Industrial environment

-You like to be innovative, see possibilities for improvement of existing products and solutions as well as creating new ones

-You are communicative and speak English Fluently, and you have a can-do attitude

-Like to join a group with an agile development work philosophy

-Have an Master’s degree in Science or Engineering

-If you have experience of design work in plastics it is considered a merit
