Product Owner

Job description
The product owner is a projects key stakeholder. Part of the product owner’s responsibilities is to have a vision of what they wish to build and convey that vision to the delivery team.

The product owner must have a solid understanding of users, the marketplace, the competition and of future trends for the domain or type of system being developed. They must also work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization and beyond, so must be able to communicate different messages to different people about the project at any given time.

Responsibilities
In the role as a Product Owner you're going to serve as the voice of the customer. You will identify and help the client understand the business model, value and value proposition.  

You're responsiblities will also be to: 


Work with customers and solution teams to analyze customer needs and align product
roadmap to strategic goals.
Draft key objectives and results and budget for the project.
Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration
and dependencies.
Work closely with product management and senior management to create a product that
fits the company portfolio.
Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Assess value, develop, and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories
for implementation.
Develops cases, and prioritizes stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on
those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
 Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary
contact for queries related to the product.
Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on
track towards business deliverable commitments.
Represents team in front of stakeholders, clients, or users.
 Validate and approve Scrum delivery at the end of each Sprint


Qualifications
To be succesful in this role we belive that you have a solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development lifecycle and web technologies. We also belive that you as a person has outstanding customer-facing skills. You're used to  working in a fast-paced environment and confidently handle deadlines, priorities, and constraints.  As a Product Owner you're also a confident workshop facilitator who drives effective teamwork.  Finally we belive that you'te a continuous learner with eye for details and holistic thinking – challenging current status-quo and actively crafting solutions. 

Required skills: 
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fields
Experience with requirement workshops, user stories, story maps, UML, data analysis  
Hands on experience with agile tools like JIRA/Confluence experience
Proficient English skills both spoken and written. 
Agile practitioner proficiency is a plus.
