We are looking for yet a Product Owner to our Packaging Material development, within Programme Management in the Development & Technology organization. You will be leading a cross-functional team and develop the packaging materials for tomorrow, with sustainability and time to market in strong focus. You will be part of a dynamic working environment in high pace and with high focus from the company and our customers.
This position is based in Lund, Sweden. You will travel around 10% of your time.
What you will do
As our Product Owner, you will be leading one of our Scrum teams. Our teams manage exciting development projects and deliver new sustainable packaging material solutions for Tetra Pak’s Sustainability roadmap. You will take part in our Programme team, that jointly supports our teams and their priorities.
Our development projects are run in a global environment with many opportunities for personal growth and career development. Our solutions connect to both suppliers, other development within Tetra Pak and our customers. You will be required to network both within and outside Development & Technology to secure alignment of all project activities - including building external partnerships and interacting with markets.
Main responsibilities
As Product Owner, you lead one of our Scrum teams. You will on daily basis interact with the team’s Scrum master, and the team members.
You will, with Tetra Pak’s agile methodology and through the Scrum team, manage execution of projects. That includes meeting project goals, development of technical solutions, verifications of results, deliveries, resource- and project planning, long term planning, and working towards business needs. To succeed with our projects, collaboration and interactions are required with other teams in other parts of the Tetra Pak organisation.
In your Product Owner role you represent the projects in governance forums, and you interact with stakeholders on high levels in the organisation.
You drive the product development in a lifecycle perspective, including industrialization and deployment, as well as continuous improvement of released products.
You take active part in our Programme team, and you contribute together with your colleagues to development of such as our working environment, processes and tools.
Who you are
The professional skills needed in this role, besides the comprehensive knowledge of project management and a good experience of agile working methods, is a strong leadership and the ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization. As well, you are a pragmatic person, able to find solutions and work under pressure.
You have an engineering background, with 5-7 years of working experience - preferably with connections to Tetra Pak’s packaging material. You have 5-7 years of project management experience, you have or you aspire a PMP certification, and you have a proven track record from deliveries in technically complex projects. You have experience from working with Scrum and Agile methodology.
You understand Tetra Pak’s business, and you have an interest to contribute to this through your team’s deliveries. Preferably, you have besides a technical background also managed product development projects, leading to released products. You are a result orientated and a self-motivated person with strong customer focus. To deliver, is for you key. You pay attention to details balanced with the ability to see the project in a larger context. Furthermore, you possess facilitation ability with excellent communications skills.
This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills, able to negotiate and communicate both in general and technical terms. You have strong stakeholders’ management ability as you would interact with high level stakeholders.
Your communication skills in English, both written and oral are on excellent level.
