Arbetsbeskrivning
We at NIRA believe in making the roads safer by developing sophisticated software solutions for passenger cars. Our solutions are used in everything from controlling vehicle dynamics locally in the car to creating real-time road conditions maps for autonomous vehicles travelling in challenging weather and road conditions.
As a Product Owner you will be a part of the engineering team developing NIRA’s road friction estimator Tire Grip Indicator (TGI) and collaborate closely with your development colleagues, the management team for TGI and a wide range of external stakeholders and automotive industry customers.
Your team
You will work within a Scrum team where you, in close cooperation with your team members, work on multiple products delivering new features in an agile manner. Beside the Product Owner, the team consists of 4-8 Development Engineers and one Scrum Master. You will report to the Product Manager.
This is what you will do
In your role as a Product Owner your primary responsibility will be to optimize the value of the work the team performs – tell the team what is important to deliver. Together with the Scrum Master and the Scrum team, you will plan, prioritize and maintaining the team backlog. You will be overall responsible for creating the roadmap for your product and support the team to execute on a shared vision and strategy.
Furthermore, you will have a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product growth and enhancement through each iteration. You will make the judgement call on the performance, deciding if the team needs to go back to the drawing board or if they can move on to the next steps. The goal is to maximize the output and the stakeholder value the team creates.
As you get comfortable within your role and the product organization, there are different opportunities to grow and develop within the field of product development as well as with the growing NIRA organization.
