What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate Digital Product Owner to Deliver Body Components. The product secures the digital applications and stamping capabilities for our component plant-based in Olofström.
In the stamping plants, you are responsible for the applications that are controlling and do follow up of the stamping of the parts that are needed for our cars.
There is 24 hours production to secure the stamped parts are delivered to all our car plants in the world (Europe, APAC and US).
The applications like PANDA and evoTrQ used in stamping collect the needed data which is used to improve the stamping process day by day.
Also, the application used by Manufacturing Engineering will secure that new tool & dies are prepared for the new car models.
You will join the Manufacturing Execution Cluster within Global Manufacturing at Volvo Cars Digital. This product cluster is responsible to deliver good Quality & Manufacturing Execution Solutions (MES) to secure we assemble efficiently the best cars to our customers.
You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and scale our users globally. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously, ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery.
The product owner (PO) maximizes value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the digital product team’s backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution while maintaining the technical integrity of the features/components for the team. You are the voice of the user you have a business perspective and technical know-how.
You will work together with the agile product team following SCRUM/SAFe frameworks.
What you will do:
You are articulating and consistently emphasizing the short- and long-term vision (roadmap) of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders from the stamping component plants.
You drive that the applications can be used globally in all stamping facilities also make sure we collect more and more data from our stamping and assembly installations to improve the processes. By doing that our business will become more data-driven.
We will use more and more cloud-based solutions so we can implement our solutions faster and make them available worldwide.
You own, build and prioritize the epics, features, and stories together with the business stakeholders in the team Backlog including defects and enablers
You coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners.
Participating as a member of the Cluster Manufacturing Execution, review, and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations
Who you are:
We are looking for you who have an interest in software development and/or experience of IT solutions within manufacturing. Delivering easy-to-use and robust solutions to the stamping facilities is the most fun you know. We see that you can coordinate multiple initiatives in parallel together with the stakeholders and own the product backlog from both component plans with the ambition to have a harmonized landscape
As a person, you have excellent communication skills, high integrity, a strong sense of delivery, and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and get things done, in time and with quality. You are ambitious, energetic, creative, and open-minded to find new solutions to existing problems. Stakeholder management is one of your key competencies.
