This is what your new colleagues do
At Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture, a key for enabling innovation within areas such as Advanced Connectivity, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Drive. Our mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like DriveOS and NVIDIA’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signalling technologies. We are dedicated to delivering platform functions simplifying the application development to create a safe, reliable, and secure platform solution within Volvo Cars for increased innovation and speed. Within Core System Platform, currently eight High Integrity teams are jointly responsible for the creation and deployment of a platform for high-ASIL components and safety-critical processes.
What you will do
As a Product Owner for High Integrity, you will become part of the Core System Platform family. As a servant leader, you will support several cross-functional teams contributing to a platform environment for a variety of safety-critical applications. You will work together with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and manage priorities for teams, acting as their primary customer. You will own a roadmap to share your vision for your domain and align deliveries with car project needs. You will break down capabilities and define, elaborate, and drive features. As part of the agile troika, you will be one of the central contacts of the High Integrity area to ensure a world-leading, safe, and sustainable software platform.
Who are you?

You are a customer-oriented person who enjoys being part of a team where you take initiative and take pride in your own and the team’s deliveries.
Mandatory requirements
* You are a servant leader
* You have at least 8+ years proven experience in software lifecycles, including embedded software development, architecture, requirement handling and processes
* You are an excellent networker and surely cross-functional with great communication skills
* You are self-driven; you think in solutions and have the energy to make things happen
* You are a structured person allowing for exceptional solutions
* You are a holder of a university degree within Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar
* You are fluent in spoken and written English
Meritorious
* You worked as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Software Architect before
* You worked in an automotive, medical, or aerospace environment before
* You worked with safety-focused microcontrollers such as Infineon’s AURIX TriCore before
* You have profound insight in AUTOSAR or similar
* You might have experience from SiL and HiL testing environments
* You are result-oriented with a “think-outside-of-the-box-attitude”
* You have a keen perception with a good portion of quality understanding
* Your energizing attitude sparks also your teams and your troika
