Product Owner

We are constantly growing and now looking for experienced Product Owners ready to join our DEK teams. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for a specific project where you will work closely with our customer and with one of the cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, breaking down demands into tasks, estimating time, and helping the customer and the team towards a successful outcome. Furthermore, you are responsible for prioritizing the team backlog/tasks as towards the customer needs and proactively analyzing the upcoming risks in the product area.

Responsibilities and tasks:

- Assess, develop and prioritize processes to ensure work aligns with product strategy

- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development.

- Managing the product backlog

- Working with cross-functional teams and clients, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, support and sales

- Be accountable for the release management deliverables and Software Quality

- Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product area

Key qualifications for the position:

- Previous working experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master for cross-functional teams

- Strong background in programming and a good understanding of the technical aspects

- Extensive experience in Software development life cycle

- Proven ability in leading technical discussions and planning

- A deep understanding of agile methodologies and ways of working

- Good interpersonal communication skills and can work as a bridge between stakeholders, tech and other product teams

- Fluent in English, spoken and written

Previous experience working in Telecom and speaking Swedish is seen as highly beneficial.
