What we are doing
We develop next generation Telematics and Connectivity platform, enabling one of our company’s strategic focus areas - Connectivity.

What you’ll do
You will join the Connectivity Platform department within the Connected Experience unit in R&D. Our department is responsible for design, development, optimization, and verification of software in next generation Telematics & Connectivity Antenna module in our cars. The software development is performed in close collaboration with our suppliers and partners, as well as our internal customers, i.e., application teams.
Your role will be Product Owner for two scrum teams - and in this capacity, you will develop the technical strategy, prioritization, and development of a world class Connectivity in Volvo Cars. 

You and your skills
As a person, you are motivated, self-motivated, and open-minded to new opportunities. You are a great person with great networking skills. 
Master’s degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
C/C++ (C++ preferred)
Embedded Linux
Linux tool chain (bash, git, Gerrit, Jenkins)
Agile software development
Communicative in speech and writing
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Meritorious qualifications:
Previous experience in SW development in Automotive business, preferably on OEM side
Documented (people and technology) leadership experience (e.g., PO, ScM)
Application development in C++
