The Product Owner for internal systems is a critical role within Sellpy, responsible for optimising our entire process of managing millions of pre-loved items.
As part of the Product team, you will report to the Chief Product Officer and work closely with both the Engineering and Operation teams to ensure Sellpy runs smoothly. Your technical ability and experience will be invaluable in continuously improving our technical solutions and systems throughout the entire production chain. From unpacking the iconic Sellpy bags to descriptions and photography.
Your role primarily focuses on production systems while you also have the chance to take part in other projects throughout Sellpy’s internal systems. We are excited to see you collaborate with the Chief Product Officer, the Junior Product Owner for internal systems, and the Internal Engineering and Operation teams to develop and implement larger projects as well as incremental tickets. We encourage you to think big, start small, and scale later as you explore how technology can solve large-scale challenges.

In short, you will:
- Be responsible for the internal systems powering sorting, describing, photographing and packing millions of items every month.
- Manage and improve our internal systems for ensuring and reviewing quality of ads.
- Constantly make life easier for Sellpy customers by improving efficiency and reducing errors in production.
- Work with our Product Owners, Operations, and Engineers to offer an elegant service that customers love.
- Be in the front-line of setting up routines during expansions, eg. warehouses, sorting belts and necessary hardware.
You need:
- 2+ years of experience working as a product owner or product manager
- B.S. degree in Engineering or related field
- Proven ability in making data-driven decisions
- Motivation to put your talent to better use and contribute to a climate-positive change on a daily basis.
- Social curiosity to collaborate with Sellpy’s various internal teams
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Experience with process optimization, agile development methods and UX knowledge.

- A background working with product descriptions, photography and/or categorization of products
- Knowledge of SQL or similar query languages
- Previous experience of working in a production environment, with re-usable product data and product information management related systems.

Location
Your base is our office at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm while you will benefit from regular visits to our production facility, warehouse and office in Rosersberg. This is a hybrid role where you are welcome to combine this with working partly from home.
