About the role


As the Product Owner of Integration, Verification and Simulation team at the Vehicle Motion Management train, you will be part of the Agile Product Management team and will own the verification strategy for the Vehicle Motion Management product.


You will be able to create an impact in this position by leading the strategy development and implementation for virtual verification of vehicle motion management control systems, covering all layers of the SW architecture. Securing that our virtual verification systems and solutions are aligned between trains and organizations and are developed in line with applicable technology strategies according to our agreed processes, methods and tools. In this role you will collaborate across the organization to make sure that our virtual verification setup is prepared for the future. Along with this strategic part, some of your routine activities would be to:
Identify needs from stakeholders
Set and refine the verification strategy for the VMM train
Prioritize features in the teams’ backlog
Refine backlog items
Communicate with stakeholders such as Epic-owners, Development partners
Take part in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospective sessions, sprint reviews and backlog grooming sessions
Collaborate with the other product owners in your product group and in other product groups towards shared visions and goals

Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think a successful candidate must have the following skills/attributes/experience:
Master Degree in engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Physics or similar)
Extensive experience (at least 12 years) from virtual verification of vehicle motion related control systems
Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members
Knowledge of Software integration & verification
Knowledge of continuous integration
Experience from agile development
Experience from project management and project planning
