As Europe's largest and fastest growing motorcycle-focused online retailer, with 39 sites in 17 European countries, including XLmoto, 24mx and Sledstore, we’re on the lookout for a Product Owner to help us build incredible customer experiences on the back of our e-commerce and CRM platforms.
As a Product Owner, you’ll be working as part of a cross-functional team to deliver best-in-class marketing and e-commerce solutions including the needs of our customers and our business and technical goals and objectives.
We have recently invested in a number of leading marketing and ecommerce platform solutions and we are now at a stage where we can integrate these platforms to deliver more compelling customer experiences that will help us to attract more customers, drive engagement and build loyalty.
Your role will be to define a clear vision for this product area, to build the roadmap and to deliver key initiatives in market. You will play a key role between the business and technology organization to ensure all stakeholders are aligned behind common goals and objectives. You set clear expectations across the team and you drive the IT development team to maximize output in terms of customer and business value.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, define stories and features so they are clearly understood by the development team
- Act as the primary liaison for project and sprint delivery and contribute to the planning, execution and review of each development sprint
- Work with the team to continuously optimize our agile development process
Key Tasks:

Build the e-commerce and customer relationship support road map in close collaboration with key business functions including marketing, sales, category management, pricing, finance, supply chain and customer service

Drive business value for key initiatives by evaluating ideas, customers’ needs and business goals and prioritizing product improvements accordingly

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, making sure to deliver valuable functionality and fixes in the agile development team

Act as the primary liaison for projects and continuous delivery and contribute to the planning, execution and review of each development

To thrive in this role

you have excellent interpersonal skills and a profound customer focus and experience in managing a virtual and geographically distributed team

you have a background as Product Owner, Project Management or other leading role in IT development
- you have delivered large-scale e-commerce/website/consumer oriented projects with complex technical challenges preferably in a retail environment
- you have a high analytical ability and you are a strategic, creative, pragmatic and data driven problem-solver
- you have an in-depth knowledge of and experience with agile methodologies and a high delivery focus and ability to structure work
- you have strong leadership and communication skills and you are easily communicating with all levels in the company
- you are curiosity to learn new things and your English is excellent, both oral and written
- If you are a motorcycle rider or enthusiast, then that would be a plus
