As Product Owner at Ikano Bank, you have a key role in the success of product delivery in the Agile release train. You work closely with business stakeholders to create efficient solutions. You are responsible for maximizing overall value delivered by your agile team by working together to deliver the committed objectives for each PI and to ensure a working solution.

You create and maintain your team’s backlog and understand features, responsible for creating and understanding backlog items and be able to scope, descope and make priority decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Understand Ikano Bank’s strategic initiatives, by closely working with Product Management, to help deliver products that helps the Bank in achieving the desired objectives
• Drive product development in your agile team of dedicated engineers and designers
• Hold and articulate the Product Vision/Roadmap to the agile team
• Create, maintain and prioritise the team backlog
• Understand and provide input to the Product Roadmap
• Build trust and effective relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Take an active part in the PO Community of Practice
• Use rapid cycles to iterate and learn
• Review and accept delivered user stories
• Co-define Definition of Done together with the agile team
• Interact with 3rd parties with regards to technical integrations and support of the same

Key Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience as Product Owner or Product Manager within financial services industry
• Experience and knowledge of agile frameworks, preferably SAFe
• Strong technical leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of ETL tools and SQL/MySQL
