About this opportunity
We are searching for one competent person to fill a Product Owner role that shall support our existing Storage service teams.
Ericsson Lab Operations provide world class lab infrastructure, storage, networks and HW services to research and development organizations through our standardized solution and services. We enable our stakeholders to configure and deploy their design and test environment.
The Global Storage Service is supporting storage capacity with world-wide deliveries from Linköping, Stockholm and regional labs.
You will be part of our operations team and report to a Line Manager in Lab Operations Network & Storage unit. In close cooperation with colleagues from all of the organisation you will be an important part of making sure that we all drive in the same direction.
Main responsibility is to:
Drive the stakeholder experience aspects for the framework and associated services/functionalities from a requirement and quality assurance perspective in close collaboration between the teams, Service Domain Manager (SDM) and stakeholders.
In addition, the Product Owner drives our development and supports our teams in overall service portfolio questions by:
Defining, driving and supporting solutions for the service, with support of the service development teams with focus on technical solution, with consideration on time, quality and cost.
Defining and communicating the service vision for its products and services.
Managing the team’s backlog, ensuring alignment with established objectives and goals.
Prioritizing and presenting upcoming tasks and projects to the team.
Suggesting improvements where and when necessary, based on input from day-to-day operations and retrospective.
Being responsible for how the service presents itself towards our stakeholder.
Controlling the service documentation according to service management framework processes.
Contributing to an open and high-spirited team environment. Regularly reflect on current ways of working in order to propose and implement improvements.

You will be part of strong operations and development unit, all the way from requirement setting, systemization, implementation, verification to stakeholder release and maintenance.

What you will do
Work closely with our stakeholders to understand their needs.
Drive and define service strategy plans and roadmaps.
Support service development and deployment and coordinate with SDM and Architects.
Support the SDM with input to business decisions.
Support the SDM in risk analysis, security assessment and business continuity management.
Ensure delivery of technical solutions, quality, highlight risks and impediments to service development teams.
Secure that architecture and security requirements are followed, and hand-shaken with Security and Architecture, ensureing security compliance.
Adopt cloud native technology and DevOps principles.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve the product.

Higher level education within IT alternatively having gained similar knowledge by working or by other means.
Previous experience in a Product Owner role or leadership experience in product teams through alternative positions.
A background from an IT or similar services, experience from storage services or similar is beneficial.
Experience in any of the following areas - virtualization, cloud, container technologies, development of microservices, SW architecture, agile methods and continuous integration is beneficial.
Comfortable leading larger groups and capable of working independently.
