Innovation and fast transformation to products that customers enjoy to use require a data driven organization. Our organization is working with data from test and production vehicles across the globe and have a mission to enable the transformation of ideas to products by providing data products for developers. The sdata is used both for exploration, development, and validation. Are you ready to take a lead in our journey?
What will you do?
In this role you will lead the development of new data analytics and data management products by providing the teams with prioritized backlog items. The business understanding you will need to gather from being involved in discussions and building a network of contacts, to learn the true need of the organization. Together with others you will form a vision for the product area that you use for having an updated roadmap. You will actively communicate roadmap to teams for them to understand the purpose, and others in the organization to be able to start using the products. You use your technical leadership to empower teams and others in organization. Your stakeholders will be your teams, other parts of Volvo Cars, and partners.

Who you are:
You have a previous background in Data analytics, Big data and Data engineering, allowing you to understand the technical opportunities and limitations of the involved areas. Ability to gather the business needs from different and unmature sources together with a curious, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset are important to succeed. Preferably you have already experience of product management in these areas. Ability and courage to make bold priorities and bring clarity to the teams are very important as well.
You will need to have proven experience from leadership that align with our we-culture and that can adapt to the changing nature of our organization and maturity of the teams. We believe that you have a strong drive to learn continuously and are flexible to broaden your experience with new trends and also guide teams. You probably have a M.Sc. or similar. Good knowledge in English language both spoken and written, is required for the role.
