Product Owner ADAS Data Analytics

At the forefront of Research and Development in the automotive industry, Volvo Group Truck Technology (GTT) offers you the opportunity to become a part of the ADAS Release Management Team. The ADAS team is part of the Vehicle Motion & Energy Management Technology Stream and has the responsibility to lead the development of ADAS and Active Safety systems for the full life cycle enabling tomorrow's trucks and buses. VMEM stream is part of Vehicle Technology, responsible for developing vehicle components and systems for the different brands within the Volvo Group.


What is our mission?
We believe and strive for that data analysis will constitute the foundation for accelerating ADAS product Development within perception, sensor data fusion, end user function tuning, verification, and validation using large datasets that mirror the usage of our end products by our customers.


What will you be accountable for?


Your key responsibilities are:
Own definition and prioritization of the product backlog
Support the team in understanding the features defined in the backlog
Ensure high quality of deliverables through clear definition of acceptance criteria
Lead commercial, time plan & technical discussions with suppliers
Be part of the product owners’ team and secure alignment on the priorities/dependencies within the ADAS technology sub stream

You will be leading a highly skilled team which jointly works and secures deliverables and enablers such as:
Global real world data collection using reference systems
Data collection from proving grounds
Data logging from production trucks
Tool chain for data processing
Advanced analytics platform for sensor and function performance evaluation

Experience and education:
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a similar education
Understanding of challenges within ADAS product development and validation ( functional safety, SOTIF, data management…)
Experience and understanding of how to manage a data driven product development and validation
