The Digital Transport Operator is new division within Connected Services organisation with the purpose to provide transport companies with tools that enable them to improve efficiency, profitability and sustainability. The division currently employs around 80 employees fairly evenly organised into four business areas of which Admin & Compliance is one.
The business area Admin & Compliance is responsible for the services that we provide to our end customers regarding legal compliance and administration at the haulier company such as Tachograph services.
We are now looking for a product owner to join the development team within this business area.
We are organized in a BizDevOps setup, which means that we gather all the competence we need within the business area from operations and development to sales and market implementation. We believe in working closely together with few hand-offs to reach our goals. The business area is led by a business manager who has the overall responsibility.
Job description
As a Product Owner within Admin & Compliance, you will work closely with the developers, as well as the other roles in the business area, making sure that the team backlog is updated and in good shape. You have the primary responsibility for building, planning and prioritizing the team’s backlog so the team can provide great business value to our customers and end users.
Knowledge of customer needs is crucial for maintaining a vivid and healthy backlog. You will continuously gather this knowledge through communication with customers, Scania colleagues, business intelligence as well as through partners.
Since the development is a team effort you will need to communicate and coordinate your work with other Product Owners within the organisation and keep yourself well informed on what is being developed by neighbouring teams to ensure efficient synergies.
Your profile
You probably have a few years of experience in the role of Product Owner, alternatively a few years of working experience within the area of agile development or service development. You appreciate the value of good cooperation and you are comfortable with the agile culture and ways of working.

A prerequisite is excellent communicative skills allowing you to effectively communicate with different types of stakeholders, in writing as well as verbally. Experience from Service development within the transport, logistics or heavy commercial vehicle industry is meriting.
Some travelling will be required since you will be responsible for collecting customer requirements within the area.
