Product Owner – App

Nordnet is customer-focused and product led. We are now looking for a new product owner to take our app to the next level. As a Product Owner in the broader Product organisation, you will be tactically responsible for the features, functions and workflows in Nordnet’s savings and investment app for both iOS and Android. You will lead a talented, in-house Tech team developing an app that is the most common way for our customers to interact with their savings. Nordnet’s app has a rating of 4.3 in AppStore and 4.4 in Google Play. Can you help us reach our stretch goal of a five star rating?

This is part of the role

Overall, you will make sure we extend our lead to competition within the savings and investments market. On a daily basis, you will be working alongside the business with your talented engineering team. You will solve complex problems and drive discovery & delivery of new products and services to our customers. You will prioritize the development backlog, define requirements and keep development team updated with information. You will be the first port-of-call for customer involvement in the design and development process, parse customer feedback, slice deliverables and groom the backlog. We have no lack of great, innovative ideas but you need to prioritize them by customer or business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product innovation within the app in order to maintain or extend our leading position within the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain development backlog
• Guide and lead development teams on solving customer problems and enhancing the overall experience
• Scope large initiatives into smaller deliverables and set up agile go-to-market strategies
• Together with Product Design, conduct user research, competitive benchmarking and A/B testing

This is you

You have demonstrated excellence in product leadership of other consumer apps (native and/or hybrid) with a keen interest in savings and investments. You most likely have some technical or analytical experience and as a person, you are driven, creative and have great entrepreneurial skills! You have an eye for design and a passion to solve complex problems for customers in a simple way. You like work in a fast-paced environment: since the new app launched in 2018, the team has released a new version every 10 days on average!

You have

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as product owner or product manager for a mobile app product
• Demonstrated customer/end-user focus and documented experience leading agile development teams
• A deep understanding of the competitive finance landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• High level of personal initiative, integrity and leadership
