About us
At the department of Autonomous Systems, we are developing self-driving transport solutions for the future. Autonomous vehicle development at Scania is advancing at an extremely high pace and self-driving trucks and buses on public roads will soon become exposed.
Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS) Research at Scania is responsible for developing, testing, and piloting future autonomous concepts. The ambition is to detect and evaluate upcoming technologies and prepare these for industrialization.
This work is done using a modern agile working methodology based on SAFe. The teams work in sprints with daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives in close collaboration with the appointed Product Owner. The overall planning is done in Program Increment (PI) planning session in collaboration with other Product Owners.
About the role
We are looking for a Product Owner for the group Autonomous Logging, a part of the section Autonomous Continuous Integration Platform. Our section enables engineering productivity for the whole department and the section is constantly growing.
Autonomous Logging consists of an onboard part with hardware and software to acquire data on the vehicle and an offboard part where the data is uploaded to AWS.
The team is on a development journey to be a high-performing team that shares a common vision, goals, and metrics. We collaborate and hold each other accountable to achieve outstanding results. The base should be open communication, trust, and care about each other. We have a lot of fun while working!
The Product Owner is setting direction, prioritizing the team backlog, and leading development engineers to deliver the platform for data acquisition in autonomous vehicles. The Product Owner is working In close collaboration with the Product Manager and other Product Owners within the autonomous development flow. In this role, you will have extensive contacts internally and externally.
What you will do:
• Manage and prioritize product backlog to maximize the value produced by the team
• Align direction and requirements with stakeholders
• Prepare for PI- and sprint planning meetings with backlog refinement and prioritization
• Clarify the team’s mission and build the solution/delivery roadmap together with the team
• Contribute to creating value in enabling engineering productivity together with the Product Manager and other Product Owners

Qualifications
We think you are an experienced person probably working as a Product Owner or Scrum Master in an agile organization. Maybe you have also previous experience in other leading roles, like project- or group management, in a technical environment.
You have a technical interest and some previous experience in development engineering, maybe within the automotive area. You don’t need to be an expert as long as you can learn and have a curious mindset.
We believe you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in a relevant area like Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
