Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

As part of driving this shift the Autonomous Systems Development section (EAD) is responsible for developing Scania’s on-board software stack for autonomous driving within industrial confined areas.

Our group, Vehicle Behaviour (EADD), is responsible for several modules onboard the autonomous vehicle; Degradation management, Mission handling, Situational awareness and V2X application. We have an exciting challenge ahead of us, are you ready to play a key role in driving the shift as our new Product Owner?

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a dedicated Product Owner, with an agile attitude with experience from Scrum, Kanban or SAFe. You are comfortable with owning the teams’ backlog, prioritizing it and helping the team divide tasks. An important part of the job is initial feature design and understand how our pieces fit into the big product puzzle.

As a person you know communication is key and a structured but creative environment helps the team to thrive. You are a good listener and can inspire your team to reach new goals. You help the team to keep the customer focus and set clear priorities that are in accordance with our product vision. 

You probably have a M.Sc. in e.g., Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering and are interested in Robotics and Automation. We hope you find our products as exciting as we do and maybe you have experience from a similar environment, we however also welcome applicants from other business backgrounds who can bring in new ideas and share their experiences.
