About you
We are looking for an experienced product owner who is a positive team player and is passionate about creating value in an omnichannel environment. As a starting point, you have deep knowledge of leading in a modern digital environment. Ideally, you have a background in software development with external software vendors in e-commerce, app and/or web domain with a solid experience working with agile methodology.
We believe that you are someone who can work in uncertainty and know how to lead stakeholders and yourself in the unknown. You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to bring structure to a complex environment, you feel comfortable to make decisions and you inspire others to follow your lead while applying good practices.
You can work and act at the strategic/tactical level and are at the same time action oriented, turning strategy into operational actions making things happen in the organisation.
Your curious nature helps you to actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve how things are done and delivered.

Retail Operation Solutions & Support is an integral part of Core Business Franchise and consists of a team of people with passion for retail and competence in business and technology. We provide IKEA retailers with a set of digital products and services that are integrated into IKEA value chain and supporting the omnichannel IKEA Concept. We call this the Retail Package and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

About the role
As a product owner, you will lead the product team to prioritise, coordinate and manage the development and deployment of the shoppable app as part of the IIS Retail Package. You ensure the development stays aligned with the business goals and contribute to the IKEA Franchise offer.
You are the main contributor of the product roadmap, and you will work closely with the Business Owner on near long-term goals. Also, working hand in hand with the other main stakeholders to ensure sufficient resources demonstrating a combination of technical engineering knowledge and effective team leadership.
You will collaborate with the other product owners and managers to actively manage the product backlog. You will see yourself actively participating in sprint planning to clarify features and user stories. You will lead and optimise the agility in the product team and work cross functionally with the other product teams to maximise the delivery of value.
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden. The role is to fill a maternity position for 12 months with a possibility for a permanent role within the organisation. When the situation improves, you will be prepared to travel internationally 50 days a year. You will report to the Sales & Range Processes Manager.
