Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to challenge the technical limits for sustainable transports? Then you may be the person we are looking for in the role of Product Owner.  

Scania is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and together with partners and customers, we are on a journey towards developing completely sustainable transport solutions. We are now expanding in the area of charging technology for electrification. 

What will you do?  

You will be part of the organization that works with vehicle charging systems, electric power transmission and external charging stations. The work environment is fast-paced, and the team has high ambitions. This gives you great opportunities to influence the development and structure moving forward. 

You will be working project based and in value streams where you will take ownership of the functionality and set requirements for different parts of the implementation. Charging services is affected by standards and is centred around the systemization and interaction between vehicles, cloud-services and charging stations. The work involves different technical areas, both the hardware and software in the vehicle and systems connected to it. In your work, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge in a wide range of areas where balancing the requirements and resources is central. You will also need to consider the aspects of architecture, physics and cost. Your role is to identify, plan, control and support the implementation of sub-projects that together realize world-leading e-mobility solutions for our customers. A solution could for example be booking of a slot-time at an electric fast charger.  

 Who are you?   

We are looking for someone who wants to help lead the area forward and who has an engineering education in a relevant area. The following experiences are particularly useful: 


• Experience of vehicle on-board and off-board electronics systems and software.
• Experience of system/product ownership.
• Deeper knowledge in charging standards, for example ISO15118

 We believe you are analytical, strong in communications and take holistic viewpoints.
