The Electric Drive Software department at Volvo Car Corporation is proud of being one of the most
successful players within SW development for Electric Cars. We are responsible for delivering system
solutions and SW functionality for the Inverters in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the
best and most innovative functions to the market and evolve our Software platform continuously.

About you
You have a passion for development of complex systems within vehicle electrification and embedded
systems. You are devoted to driving engineering challenges all the way from concept stage to mass
production.
You have background within the field of software integration, continuous deployment and integration
and are a natural initiator that commits to drive and deliver the team’s objectives with precision and
quality. You are a team player who contributes and bring out the best from your fellow team members
and work actively to increase your network.
About the role
As a Product Owner (PO) you will be working closely together with the Team, Team Manager,
Scrum Master, PM of the ART and stakeholders in other ARTs to maximize the value for our
customers. You own the tech in backlog, vision and roadmap for the team and keep the future
horizon to identify upcoming enablers. You should maximize the value-added work by owning
and deciding upon priorities in the program backlog from a technical, time-to-market and business
perspective.
You will be an important player in forming our CI/CD future, with elements which will enable totally
new possibilities and ways of working. Together with your team members you will be responsible
for integrating the Software Components on Application and BSW layer as part of our build and
release process, as well as shaping the process itself. Variant handling will be a key activity when
Volvo Cars deploy more exiting features in our electric vehicles using our SW Platform.
The Continuous Deployment team is responsible for:
Automation and development of the SW Release/Continuous Deployment process
for Electric Drives SW. * Maintenance of CI toolchain.
* Ownership of the releases from Electric Drive SW.
You and your skills
Master of Science or Bachelor of Science within Electrical, Electronics, Controls Theory,
Signals & Systems, Data or Mechatronics.
Great Knowledge of:
* CI/CD process and flow
* SW Integration and Release management, with complexity of tier1, and in-house deliveries.
Knowledge of:
* Autosar
* Makefile
* HIL testing
* SIL Testing
* GIT/Gerrit
* INCA
* Jenkins/Zuul
* SAFE Agile
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor product backlog to identify top priority goals for immediate
development and releaseCollaborate with developers, designers, project managers, key stakeholders and other
teams to gather requirements and customer needs.Be an advocate for the product vision and understand how it fits into the team strategic
goals.Managing the production of new product features, working closely with Agile development
teams to ensure timely release to high levels of quality and follow up with monitoring to
adapt and learn.
