Company Description
We are looking for a Product Owner within the Core HCM product at Business Tech H&M Group - a new product, and a great opportunity for you who are motivated to be a central part of a product journey from the start!
About the Product
The Core HCM product is a critical component of the Colleague Lifecycle product area at Business Tech. In tight collaboration with the H&M Group HR team, the Product Owner will be primarily responsible for digitization of core HR processes & solutions (formerly known as Workforce Administration) through co-defining, implementing & running solution(s) across the whole H&M Group enterprise.
Core HCM is, in our context, defined as strategic, tactical, and operational solutions used in managing the traditionally non-Talent Management related employee lifecycle processes & data sets. Examples of this include but are not limited to:
Solution architecture of Manager & Employee Self Service initiated workflow transactions and other UI/UX related solutions in the provision of core HCM service delivery
Supporting the definition & implementation of employee lifecycle process engineering such as Employee Moves, Leave of Absence, Exits, Onboarding/Offboarding, Changing Employment Terms etc
Structured mass change process definition & digitization in respect of Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestments & other large-scale re-organizations
Supporting the People Insights & Planning Community of Expertise with HR reporting, metrics & analytics through specialist BI development & tooling capabilities
Aligning with other sister products in the Product Area in the support of integrations as well as foundational trees & frameworks necessary to operate the global HRIS and drive value realization from our HR technology investments (Self-service UX/UI, Department trees, Position trees, Role frameworks, Cost Center structures etc)
Tight collaboration with regional Business Tech Hubs in the provision of regional & local core HCM service delivery (through distributed Demand & Service Request Management, roll out & change activities as well as best in class adoption & change management strategies in alignment with HR Subject Matter Experts and the HR Communities of Expertise)
What you will do as a Product Owner
As Product Owner for Core HCM you have extensive knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and their support in associated HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors Employee Central or Workday. You will be the technology speaking partner to the People Insights & Planning Community of Expertise Lead by showing strong awareness of HR processes, HR data mastery, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & metrics, dashboards, and more advanced forms of HR information insights. Furthermore, you will:
Communicate and align stakeholders at all levels
Work in close collaboration with other Colleague Lifecycle product teams to define data sources & models used for reporting & analytics
Support & drive continuous improvement within the product team
Define the long-term product roadmap along with the PA management & Group HR Communities of Expertise
Your profile & skills
As Product Owner you have great leadership skills, and believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. You work with a focus on value creation, growth and serving stakeholders with full ownership and accountability. We believe that you have:
A university degree in HR or related subject
Minimum of 5-10 years of proven experience in defining HR lifecycle process system support from implementation to adoption/enhancement and to continuous improvement
Experience of working in an agile set-up with understanding of agile ceremonies and delivery cadence
Existing & valid permit to work in the EU
You are patient, organized yet flexible when necessary, willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to help the product move forward. To thrive in this role, you have great leadership skills and the ability to communicate and engage a diverse audience including senior stakeholders. You are team and solution-oriented with analytical and pro-active mindset.
