Your mission
As Global online Experience grows, we are looking for a passionate Product Owner for Dealer transactions, that can bring value to our business stakeholders, finance teams, and ultimately to dealers in our ecosystem. You will join a team focusing on our direct-to-consumer sales and work together with finance process and delivery experts that focus on developing our subscription business which is Care by Volvo. Care by Volvo is Volvo Cars direct-to-consumer business model, so you’ll be part of shaping the future of the company in one of our most prioritized areas. Of course, we have fun whilst doing it.

You are the key player in this commercial transformation, you will be in an extremely curious and collaborative community where change is always the constant. Your task is to create and build the backbone for our Global Dealer transaction capabilities that relate to our online services. In this role, you will be the person driving improvements across the board and maximizing value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the digital product team’s backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining the technical integrity of the features and components. You are the voice of the users and you have a business perspective and technical know-how.
What you will do
You will take accountability for both your own direct area of responsibility and the success of the team. You are customer-centric, bold, curious, and have integrity as part of your guiding reference.
You will be responsible for deep dive into the market trends in financing solutions, setting up the roadmap as well as conveying to the team and stakeholders the vision during the short and long term. You will capture requirements on the product from various stakeholders like business users and architects, furthermore, you will ensure dealer transactions fulfill tax requirements for respective markets and coordinate initiatives related to this. You will work with delivery teams to refine processes and solve operational issues, coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners, and Support during development and sign off UAT. You will own, build, prioritize, define, and refine the stories in the backlog including defects and enablers.
You and your skills
You will be successful in this role if you have experience leading and driving product strategy as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or equivalent for a minimum of 3 years. You have experience in building and operating financing solutions and service provider relationships within a global multimarket environment (both front end and back end) and securing well-functioning data integration towards external partners. You are proficient in accounting and have tax competence. You have experience using financial ERP systems, preferably SAP/S4Hana. Preferably have worked in an agile development methodology in digital product teams. You possess higher education, preferably within finance and you are fluent in English, both verbally and written.

You are energetic, have forward-thinking and you push for innovation. You are excellent at communication, presenting, and relationship-building with teams and global stakeholders.
