Product Owner - Development environment Autonomous systems

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Job description
Our future Product Owner (PO) is a person who is driven by interactions and cares about our users’ perspective. You have a background as a software developer and understand the importance of always prioritizing the most valuable deliveries.

You want to learn how to work in a more strategic way and keep our Roadmap aligned with our day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for the backlog of our team and a consultant team working off site. Preferably, you also prefer the combination of digging in to our work and help the developers from time to time.  In this role you will need to skilfully facilitate workshops and other big room meetings, especially online meetings.

What we offer
Come join us and you will experience a working environment full of challenges, both intense deadlines and long-term puzzles. You will have a great team to help you with building our roadmap and refining our work. In combination with that you will be able to learn from the system teams' POs and the extended management team in leading both technology and people.

Scania’s culture is characterised by openness, diversity and respect for the individual. Our people are our most important resource, so we invest in employee training. We will give you the opportunity to develop your skills so you can grow with us.

As a Scania employee, you are offered several benefits in addition to personal and professional development opportunities. These benefits include mutual bonus, leasing car, occupational pension and flexible working hours. Scania can help with relocation if needed.

Our team
Our team is working with development and maintenance of a development environment for the new Autonomous systems platform for all our self-driving buses and trucks. Every day we serve 150+ developers in a cutting-edge environment and we are always looking for new and more efficient tools in our toolchain set up. We are seven developers in our team, led by you as a PO together with our Scrum Master and manager.

Qualifications
Our developers work with the following tools and environments. Your knowledge in any of these areas is beneficial but not a requirement.

• Programming languages (C++, Python)

• Build automation (CMake, Conan, Artifactory, Gitlab CI)
• Configuration-management and containerization tools (Ansible, Docker)

The most important aspect is that you enjoy connecting with other people to understand and structure our deliveries for an efficient and user-friendly development environment together with the team. As a person you are pragmatic and can handle most persons and situations
