What you'll do


In the new domain of digital key and approach the phone will become the primary key for your car. This adds high demands on the team and the product owner. Here we are looking for a product owner who can help us build and maintain our internal roadmap looking into our future. Our area is growing and we need to expand our internal delivery team for solutions to other parts of the team. This includes platform software, test automation and requirements and system design within the teams. Our deliveries are very complex and span over everything from mobile devices, through cloud, to internal ECUs in the car.

The approach software that aims to predict if the user will use the car or not is based on UWB localization data and other data inputs. The goal is to provide customer with the best possible user experience in the user journey of keys. Our solution aims for the enhanced user experience. The planning of tasks will include development and maintenance of a secure NFC card access system as well as the system for the digital key in car. There will be stakeholder management with external suppliers on ECU level and can also be towards Apple and Google in device management. 

Job Responsibilities:
* Maintaining the long-term road map
* Being visionary about the future of the solution
* Preparing and prioritizing tasks for the team and between other solutions
* Stakeholder management, both internal and external
* Presenting solution and status to Business Owners and other management
* Attending and occasionally facilitate Agile ceremonies
* Ownership of the product backlog
* Synchronization on all above with the Product Owners in our group


What you'll bring


You are experienced in automotive with at least a couple of years in the industry, this is not your first rodeo. You have a quality mindset with a high sense of visionary thinking. Our solution is very much in deep into ECU, Embedded development, Cyber security, Cloud, Machine learning, Wireless technologies to name a few. 

This role is challenging and rewarding. You will need to be structured in very firm way and also be able to execute on a vast number of different tasks and also help in defining the work to be planned and implemented. 

Mandatory background:
* You have a few years of experience within automotive and feel confident in your knowledge in this area 
* Experience as Product Owner or similar
* Experience in Agile methods
* Relevant education, BSc or higher or equivalent professional career


Beneficial background:
* Confident in prioritizing backlog
* Used to working with CI/CD environment
* Software development background


Personal qualities
* Team player with strong collaboration skills
* Good communication skills; the ability to share verbally as well as in writing in a clear, concise manner to both technical specialists and people without technical knowledge
* Structured and analytical way of taking on tasks and performing on a daily basis in a result-oriented way
