Product owner - Digital service

We are looking for a Product owner to the newly established company Global Load Out Solutions AB, a new entity in the Volvo Group. The new company will focus on accelerating the commercialization of a set of Volvo innovations within mass logistics. These digital services will support our customers to improve workflow, transparency of data, boost profitability and reduce environmental impact. We will build this company together and you will be part of the journey from the very start. Your impact will definitely make a difference!


As a Product owner you oversee and develop the strategic roadmap of the service offer to secure the customer expectations - what is the next step for us to develop to broaden the market and to solve the actual pain the customers have? You are the interface to our top-notch development partners to ensure the best and most efficient deliveries. All technical documentation needed for the product, for example training material – classroom-style/movies/or what do you think? Maybe time for something new! - is owned and further developed by you as Product owner. You are also the Sales team # 1 go-to person regarding sales argumentation, best practices @ customers and at times Sales technical support in discussions with the customer.


Who we think you are
We believe you have an engineering background; you have a University degree maybe from Information/communication technology or computer engineering. There could be experiences from project management, SW development or of course other types of Product ownership in your back-pocket. Your typical skill set could contain agile work methods, connectivity or maybe data analysis. Something that for sure describes you is an analytical mindset as well as good communication skills. Swedish and English are necessary skills for this role. You have a strong self-drive and want to have an impact in the organization you chose to belong to.
