SEB Embedded is on a mission to bring banking to where it’s needed and we are looking for a Product Owner to help us drive development of our Financing products
About the team and the products
Our team thrives on collaboration, where diverse perspectives are valued and every voice matters. You’ll work closely with talented individuals from various backgrounds, including backend engineers, product specialists and stakeholders. We embrace Agile principles to ensure our products are delivered efficiently and we foster a culture of continuous growth.
Our financing products are key in building a full scale Banking as a Service offering. Currently, we are focusing on Credit Cards and Consumer Loans but we are exploring other opportunities such as BNPL/Invoice or Corporate Credits.
What you will do
Be responsible for the direction and execution of the roadmap with an initial focus on our Credit Assessment team.
Collaborate with Stakeholders, Developers, Product Managers and other Product Owners to ensure that the roadmap is aligned with the overall banking-as-a-service platform vision.
Document requirements and processes for future development, optimizing and replacing them as needed. Ensure efficient compliance with regulations.
Continuously seek ways to enhance quality and what actions that can be taken to enhance performance.

Who you are
Experience working as a Product Owner
Experience within banking and finance, with a strong understanding of credit products throughout their lifecycle.
Experience building a product from scratch.
A true collaborator with the ability to prioritize needs and communicate them to stakeholders.
Experience in leading and working within cross-functional & hybrid teams.
Excellent analytical thinking abilities, data informed decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify risks and efficiently mitigate them when needed.
Great communication skills in English.



Experience working as Product Owner within consumer finance is meritorious.
Experience working with credit cards, BNPL/invoice products is meritorious
