What you’ll do
As the Product Owner for Exterior Vision Platform you will be responsible for the development and deployment of cameras and camera sensing platform that enable autonomous driving, ADAS and convenience features in our current and future vehicle architecture. In this area, you get to work closely with our agile vision teams which are responsible for the development and integration of our exterior cameras.
One key responsibility is to create and prioritize the backlog with the purpose of maximizing the value added by the teams. In this, you will interact and collaborate with other Product Owners and various stakeholders to enable fulfillment of their requirements as well as driving the evolution of our capabilities for the future.
Together with us, you will grow your competence and contribute meaningfully towards one of our key missions in Safe Vehicle Automation, that is Zero Collision.
Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a leader who is a curious, problem solving person with a true team player mindset. You are eager to create technical clarity for your agile teams – and you inspire and empower them to contribute with their extensive experience and innovativeness. You also have an uncanny ability to think holistically, cut through the “noise” and translate complex business/technical scenarios into a prioritized product backlog.
You bring with you your experience and knowledge of camera HW development, low-level SW for cameras, graphical systems-on-chips/modules, camera service, calibration, diagnostic and sensor fusion. You have knowledge on human and computer vision systems and how to leverage classical computer vision and AI methods for perception related tasks. You also have a good understanding on how to verify perception and how to build a solid structure for automated testing (CI/CD). In addition, you keep yourself updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to know how they can improve the end customer experience.
When it comes to communication skills, you have a great communicator who can explain and simplify technical details for teams and stakeholders.
Furthermore, you have at least a B.Sc within Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar. You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as Product owner or similar roles in camera development, vision processing or similar areas. You also have a proven track record of putting relevant products into production. A valid B-driving licence is a must.
Meritorious:
* Knowledge in ADAS and AD feature development
* Knowledge from development of automotive software and hardware
* Verification in vehicles at system or functional level or experience from test automation
* Certified Agile or SAFE Product Owner certification
