Product Owner for Low Pressure Polyethylene

We are looking for a Product Owner Low Pressure Polyethylene
As part of the Global Product Asset Management Team you are technically responsible for defined portfolios of Borealis commercial Polyethylene products comprising Low Pressure Polyethylene used in various applications.
You serve our customers by driving continuous improvement in product quality, performance and cost. Through networking with the production sites, the commercial organization and S&OP, you secure that our commercial products meet customer’s needs and expectations.

As a product owner, you will:
Ensure that our products can be produced within established specifications and fulfil customer needs, quality standard and legal requirements. You are the owner of internal and external product specifications and support
Support pre-marketing and commercialization activities, managing test runs, ensuring proper documentation for Joint Venture partners
Perform product quality reviews and lead product-related claim investigations in order to propose justification.
As a member of Application Marketing Teams (AMT) and Customer Support Teams (CST) you will also give technical support to solve complex customer issues, as well as support classification and product placement in the market in co-operation with Operations, Supply Chain and Commercial Teams.

About you
As our desired candidate, you have a degree in Material Science, Polymer Engineering/Science, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, and several years of professional experience. You are able to understand customer needs and translate them into technical and product requirements. The knowledge of extrusion process based cable applications and good understanding on commercial implication of technical solutions will help you to step in the role of Product Owner. In addition, experience in managing international sourcing operations can be a beneficial expertise. You have good project management and analytical investigation skills, in combination with good documentation, communication, presentation and reporting skills as well as fluency in English.

We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile, experience and the specifics of the country/location you apply for. For Austria, we offer a competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement, reflecting your competencies and experience, starting at EUR 69.600 annual gross salary and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
