Electric Driveline
The Electric Driveline Department is a part of the Vehicle Propulsion Unit that is responsible for the complete electric driveline system, including electrical machine, inverter, transmission, mounts, and drive shafts. The department is now facing a truly exciting future with electrical drivelines in our vehicle programs.

About us
The organizational group “97760 – Electric Transmission Design” consists of teams: Torque Distribution & Powertrain Mounts.
Torque Distribution is responsible for the design and development of transmission components such as differentials, drive shafts and torque vectoring for Electric vehicles. We offer an exciting career opportunity right in the heart of electrification at Volvo Cars. Our scrum team consists of a diverse mix of backgrounds, nationalities, and personalities. We foster a safe and trusting environment where we everyone is included. To be able to innovate, sustainable designs with excellent quality, we must collaborate closely, and make sure that we have fun while delivering products that we are proud of.

You and your skills
* You have deep technical knowledge & experience with Transmission components like Differential and Drive Shafts
* You have great leadership skills 
* You have experience of the agile methodology and can drive our engineering efforts under the SAFe framework
* You ensure priorities to deliver our products in time and with high quality, providing business value and exceed customer expectations
* You have a strategic mindset and strong business acumen
* You are open-minded collaborator with the ability to build cross-functional relations
* You have great communication skills
* You have excellent attention to both the big picture and details while working at a very fast pace.
* You have passion for solving problems creatively and proactively, with strong feeling of ownership 
* You have a technical engineering degree
