Would you like to shape and drive the development of Nordea’s credit processes and solutions in Group Credit Management? We in High Risk Capability are now looking for a Product Owner who enjoys working hands on with details, and are offering you an exciting opportunity to develop a key capability at the heart of Nordea. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with and prioritize the work of small development teams. Your work will require the ability to grasp the connection between business processes, data and the respective IT set-up to pro-actively solve complex problems. You will work close with the other members of the team and relevant stakeholders to drive the implementation of new High Risk solutions and processes for a combination of business and regulatory requirements.
About this opportunity
Welcome to the Credit Capability unit and High Risk Capability. We drive the development for high risk credit processes (such as debt collection, loan losses, forbearance) and are application owners. We work closely with our IT partners in this space. We maintain and foster close collaborations with stakeholders and development units in the business areas and other group functions. We also work in close interaction with the control functions in the second line-of-defence.
What you’ll be doing:
* Establish strong relationships and liaise closely with your team members and stakeholders in Group Credit Management, Business Areas, Banking Technology and other units
* Determine a product roadmap and vision, which is anchored with the receiving organization
* Build up specific competence on processes, data and applications to deliver on objectives
* Identify potential and pro-actively propose improvements to the end-to-end credit processes via automation, data and increased quality
* Set requirements and create understanding in the development teams, to enhance business value and to ensure continued regulatory compliance
* Constantly evaluate the business case of development items and prioritize the team’s backlog taking into account the capacity of the development team
* Ensure a timely delivery in line with the initial requirements that is well anchored in the receiving organization
* Potentially also be an application owner, taking on related responsibilities such as working with application strategy, risks, audits, plans, SLAs and IT security

* Build up and maintain expertise of Nordea’s credit risk agenda especially on High Risk; including understanding of regulatory requirements affecting credit risk as well as the systems and data flows
* Can easily communicate to stakeholders of various backgrounds including superiors to progress changes, to obtain commitment and to enable decision making
* Can translate regulatory and business requirements into features for the development team, i.e. act as a bridge between business and IT
* Are not afraid to get into the details of business processes, credit risk guidelines and do data analysis in SQL to form the basis for business requirements
* Have a high level of energy to do many different tasks in a high pace environment while keeping deadlines
* Are self-going with a  natural “can do” attitude and have a solution-oriented mindset supported by structured, analytical and creative thinking
* Are a team player with a high sense of responsibility and take pride in your and your team’s deliverables
* Have a high attention to detail while not losing sight of the larger picture

Your experience and background:
* 5+ years of relevant working experience from roles such as Product Owner / Business Analyst/ Application Owner
* Experience in setting business requirements, leading change and driving results with a proven implementation track record
* Experience from the financial industry; experience from the credit domain is a merit  
* Strong people, stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience from working with SQL to do data analysis and profiling
* Have a university degree (BSc, MSc, MBA) in business administration, economics or IT if supported by strong interest in banking
* Highly proficient in written and spoken English
