Product Owner In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) Platform

Position Description
Do you want to take part in deciding the future of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) in the construction industry? Then this is the job for you!


We are looking for a communicative, strategic and technology-driven Product Owner to help us lead the function development forward within IVI platform.


The main purpose of this role is to manage the development and maintenance of the IVI platform during their whole product life-cycle. This includes developing new concepts and solutions to meet current and future needs of our customers, and to understand how our functions impact the customer and affect their work environment.


Performing your work, you will be part of an agile function development team and steer them on what to do by refining features and backlog ordered by priority, as well as facilitate and encourage development of ideas from within the team. You will also have regular communication with Product Management and different stakeholders to get a holistic view of what is going on and needs to be done. You will take part in strategic decisions concerning how to develop our products and be in charge of creating and maintaining the product roadmap for your specific area.

We are the Embedded Electronic System (EES) function which is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Construction Equipment. We are EES Operator Platform & EE HW and we develop and maintain the Software Frameworks and the EES Hardware (HW) palette for embedded systems within the operator domain.

Who are you?
You have an innovative, pragmatic, collaborative and creative mind-set of handling technical challenges. You are structured, have a positive attitude and the willingness and ability to take initiatives to progress and deliver. It is also important that you can stand up for what you believe is the right direction to go and have a constructive discussion building up to a decision on priority. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and you either speak Swedish or you are eager to learn.


We believe that you are curious, flexible, open-minded, and eager to continuously improve.
You have a strong technical background, experience and interest in Embedded systems, software- and system development and architecture.


You have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Automation, Electronics or similar. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the field.
