About us:
DigitalTolk is a leading provider of interpreting and language solutions, helping people access essential services regardless of language barriers. We are rapidly growing and are now looking for an experienced and business-driven Product Owner for our "Internal User Squad," which is responsible for developing internal applications for sales teams, customer service representatives, the finance department, and other internal users.
About the role:
As the Product Owner for the Internal User Squad, you will play a central role in developing and improving our internal systems and applications. You will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing business-critical features and solutions for our internal users, such as sales teams, customer service, and finance functions. Your mission will be to bridge the gap between user needs and technology by setting clear goals and requirements for the development team and ensuring that deliveries align with the company’s strategic objectives.
You will:
Submit requests for new features and improvements based on user needs and business goals.
Make business-driven prioritizations to ensure that the most critical functions are developed first.
Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to drive projects forward.
Ensure that solutions meet high standards for user experience and efficiency.
It is also important that you have hands-on experience in customer service and sales and have led teams in these areas. Experience in coaching and sales leadership is crucial to understanding the needs of the users you will support.
We highly value strong educational backgrounds, and for this role, a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics, commercial areas, or similar fields is required. Additionally, it is essential that you are analytical and have the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Your education and analytical skills are vital to making business-driven prioritizations and understanding the financial and strategic aspects of product development.
We are looking for someone who has:
At least 3-4 years of education in economics/commercial fields and experience as a Product Owner or similar role
Experience working as a Product Owner, ideally within internal systems development.
Solid hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and sales leadership, as well as coaching teams.
Strong business acumen and the ability to prioritize based on both business goals and user needs.
Experience driving product development from idea to finished solution, including requirements gathering and backlog management.
Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interests simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and departments.
