About us
The Electric Drivetrain Department designs the heart of the Electric Car – the Electric Drive Unit that provides power to the wheels. We design electronics, electric motors, and transmissions with a high attention to sustainability and energy efficiency, aiming for world’s best electric drives.
We are now expanding our capability in Power Electronics design. We are forming a new scrum team as part of the Power Electronics ART that will take care of the Low voltage side of the Inverter HW design and we are looking for a Product Owner to join our high performing electronics design team at our Headquarters in Gothenburg.
What you’ll do
As Product owner for the Low voltage team, you will be a key player in our high performing traction inverter power electronics design organization. Your will own and decide on the priorities of the team’s backlog.
The ownership of this team includes the Inverter HW control board including the Micro controller and surrounding IO and communication circuits. Additionally, DCDC converters to create needed internal power supplies including fly-back converter. Furthermore, this team is owning the filter components towards the DC bus. They manages all stages of the design including topology selection, simulation, sizing and dimensioning, design of custom parts, parts specifications, sourcing and management as well as schematics drawing.
The control board requirements need to be aligned with our adjacent SW teams.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Own, build, prioritize, decide and refine the stories in the Team Backlog
* Support and coach the development team with backlog refinement and participate in the development of acceptance criteria when feasible.
* Maintain and develop long term technical team ownership and strategy together with ART and line management to ensure a competitive and efficient team setup.
* Build and maintain relationship with strategic partners and suppliers.
* Coordinate the backlog content with other POs and all relevant stakeholders
* Coordinate dependencies with our SW creating ART.
* Be a part of the Product Management team and review and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content.
You and your skills
We believe you have a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics engineering or similar.
You have solid knowledge in the power electronics area as well as understanding of Inverter HW topology and electronics manufacturing. Knowledge in electric machine control algorithms is preferable.
On a personal level, you are a highly motivated and experienced technical leader who take responsibility for team deliverables and contribute with knowledge, energy and a positive attitude to inspire within our Agile team. You are used to taking initiative, you see what needs to be done and you ensure that team decisions are being done effectively and are anchored in the team. Your also have an analytical way of approaching challenges, you enjoy being challenged and has a flexible mindset.
