Your mission
In this position you’re responsible for defining stories and making prioritizations in the team backlog to streamline the execution of business priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team. You have a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring that stories meet user’ needs and comply with the definition of done. You have significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team – including working with Product Area Manager, customers, business experts, and other stakeholders within the organization. You own the vision, strategy and roadmap for the product and make sure that the product team is cross-functional, with the necessary skills to take the end-to-end ownership of the product’s entire value chain.
Key responsibilities
Own vision, goals, strategy, roadmaps and impact against the product mission – including end-to-end ownership from ideation to release and lifecycle management of the product.
Define and analyze metrics and use them as a cornerstone for team focus and priorities.
Integrate qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and customer insights into product requirements, roadmaps and strategies.
Build a cross-functional team with the expertise required to manage and deliver business objectives.
Communication and gathering input and opinions from all stakeholders, all the way from business users to senior executives.

The product team develops and operates tool capabilities and processes supporting Sandvik business units in reducing risk and driving efficiency. You’re accountable for making sure that your team follow stipulated guardrails and policies in their efforts of addressing business needs. Together with the product area manager, you continuously assess the scope of the product and make sure that it’s relevant and address business needs efficiently.
The location for this position is Gasverket in Stockholm or Sandviken.

You understand the importance of end user experience and have a strong user understanding. You like working in a dynamic diverse environment and your previous career includes managing cross-functional teams and making them go the extra mile. You’re an entrepreneurial self-starter who’s self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence. You have knowledge of lean and agile software development, a proven ability to lead and inspire teams in uncertain circumstances and you always make decisions having “the best for Sandvik” at top of mind.
What you know and need – this is important   
Degree within IT or Business Administration
Experience from building and managing teams in large global organizations
Experience from product development and operations with P&L responsibility
Business mindset with passion and a track record of delivering results in fast-changing environments
Stakeholder management experience
ITIL Certification(s)
Excellent skills in English, verbal and written

What we see as an advantage

Experience from working with ServiceNow – preferable with certifications
Experience from working as product owner
Management of outsourced services
Certificates in agile methodologies like SAFe
Knowledge in Swedish and other languages
