Job Description
You will be the product owner (SAFe context) for a team developing state of the art software for the automotive industry. As a product owner of this team, you will find yourself exposed to challenges needing creativity, structure, and leadership skills. You will be responsible for the backlog of the team, ensuring that the content matches the technical roadmap, is in sync with what other teams develop, and contains the needed work elements to ensure that we meet our quality criteria. It will be expected that you, when reading technical documents such as AutoSAR standard, derive the needed work packages and define features and stories for the team. The responsible feature architect will support you in this work.
We see that the person joining us has excellent communication skills and a solid background in software engineering, also within other fields than only on a theoretical level. You should be able to dive into the code to understand if the team delivers according to the expected criterion in terms of requirements, implementation and verification.
The team is part of a larger organization delivering value adding software solutions for OEMs within automotive. Agile working methods are the foundation on our way of working, and to deliver larger solutions together with other teams we use the Scaled Agile Framework.
Qualifications
You should have experience from software development modern C++ in a QNX environment as this is the core of what the team is delivering. The product that the team is responsible for is a vital component in a larger software system and the product owner needs to guide the team by providing a clear prioritization agreed with other product owners.
Proven experience from applying automotive processes in an agile setup will be required for this role. Experience from automotive standards such as Autosar and Adaptive Autosar is mandatory.
We expect you to be self-sufficient and structured. You thrive in a changing environment and have constructive strategies to handle uncertainties and volatility. Good communication skills are essential.
Good skills in English is mandatory while Swedish and German would be seen as bonus.
